Allana was chosen to represent Australia at Rugby Sevens 2013, but subsequent knee injuries kept her off the field. It took many years for Allana to re-enter playing in the league. Allana played her first women's match in the 2015 season of rugby league and was a star in the game for New South Wales when they played Queensland. Allana can also be found as a frequent radio presenter, appearing frequently with 2GB's Continuous Call Team. Allana Ferguson is a certified educator outside the sport the world.
